Information You Need About Yourself

October 4, 2015
If you were asked, "Are you a team player" what would you say?

Think about being asked this question in an interview. I doubt anyone ever says NO.

Our immediate response is likely YES.
Can you imagine saying NO to a potential employer? "No, I am not a team player."

Now get honest with yourself. Are you better at operating alone? Do you prefer to separate yourself?

Going it alone has its place and when we get going in that direction it can be easy to lose perspective on the disconnects in our lives. By asking a safe person who we trust, we can humble ourselves and hear how others have been experiencing us.
  • Have I been listening to you lately?
  • Do you feel I have been honest with you?
  • Have I been doing my share?
Asking for reflection and surrendering to the response is a powerful process. It can put us in alignment with our best selves, and build trust with our families, friends, communities, and coworkers.

Remember being a team player is not only a work ethic. It's a way of showing up for others and letting Spirit in our lives.
Until next time,
